* For the record: Edison is very similar to Perkins, so it will be interesting to see if this match-up is similar to Keystone’s regional semifinal win over Perkins.
The Chargers, rank fifth in the Division II state coaches’ poll, beat fourth-ranked Lima Bath, 6-1, in a regional semifinal.
Like the regional semifinal, Keystone has the edge in the circle with lefty Lauren Shaw, but Edison ace Erica Reber is not an easy opponent.
The Chargers are without standout Chelsea Imus, who suffered an injury earlier this month, but the void has been filled with the bat of senior Gabby Stoll.
Keystone’s three-four duo of Sammie Stefan and Destiny Weber is as dangerous as it gets, which was proven against Perkins as Stefan mashed a two-run home run and Weber drove in two runs on three hits.
Expect plenty of hits during this game. The difference may come down to defense and one or two clutch hits.
