A woman reported she was assaulted after a fight broke out at the McDonald’s drive-thru Aug. 22.

Lorain police were called at 2 p.m. to the restaurant at 3221 Oberlin Ave.

The victim told police she was ordering food at the drive-thru when a fight erupted between her and another driver, a woman who was traveling with a man in a late-model Toyota Corolla.

The woman told police she attempted to leave, but the man chased her, then broke the mirror off her door.

The Toyota fled in an unknown direction.

Police obtained video surveillance from McDonald’s and the neighboring Valero gasoline station to assist in the investigation.
