Infinite Helping Hands’ bold spirit of caring will bless 200 families this Thanksgiving.
The home health agency founded in 2020 will host a turkey giveaway from 1-6 p.m., Nov. 17, at its office at 5201 Waterford Drive in Sheffield Village.
Last year, the agency provided 150 turkeys distributed outside Elyria City Hall, 131 Court St.
“It was the most amazing thing,” said Wende Wilson, clinical supervisor for Infinite Helping Hands, noting that staff delivered several turkeys to residents who were not able to travel to the giveaway.
“The Lord is blessing me and I have to bless others,” Wilson said. “It’s something as simple as a turkey that can make someone’s holiday.”
Infinite Helping Hands provides skilled nursing care along with companionship care such as light housekeeping, meal preparation and errands.
All services are offered with deference to patients’ desire for independence.
“We come alongside people so they can be spouses and parents instead of caregivers,” Wilson said. “We do whatever they need on a normal basis that they cannot do themselves safely.
“We look at the whole picture.”
Wilson became a part of the agency, founded by Lisa and Tyrone Price, after her son needed home health care and later died.
“I have that perspective of people who need care in their homes,” she said. “I just wanted to be my son’s mom.”
Infinite Helping Hands offers many services to veterans under a contract with the local Veterans’ Affairs office, Wilson added.

During the turkey giveaway, which is open to everyone, staff will offer cider and snacks for visitors, the organizers of the event said.
If you or someone you know needs a turkey delivered, contact Mary Cook at 440-965-0999.
Potential partners are also welcome to call, Wilson said.
“We welcome anyone who wants to come alongside us,” she said.
